​SPRINGFIELD, IL – Health care providers and students of all disciplines and faith traditions are invited to attend the 2018 Spirituality in Health Care Conference: Conflict as Catalyst for Understanding on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.  The conference, with presenter Ann M. Garrido, DMin, associate professor of homiletics at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, will be held at the Chiara Center in Springfield, IL.  

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Hospital Sisters Health System today announced that Andrew J. Bagnall, MHA, FACHE, has been appointed to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer for HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital and HSHS Western Wisconsin Division.  Mr. Bagnall currently serves as President and CEO of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He will begin this new role on February 5.  

​Naperville—Mary Starmann-Harrison, F.A.C.H.E., president and CEO of Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, has been elected chair-elect of the Illinois Health and Hospital Association’s (IHA) 2018 Board of Trustees. Starmann-Harrison will become chair of the Board in 2019. The Board of Trustees is the policymaking body for the Association, representing more than 200 hospitals and nearly 50 health systems across Illinois. 

Today HSHS St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield announced the appointment of Kevin G. Seely, PA, MBA-HA, MS-IHMP, as President and CEO.  Seely replaces past President and CEO, Patti Fischer, who serves as Chief Operating Officer of HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.  Seely will begin his new position on December 3rd and will relocate to the Litchfield area.

HSHS Western Wisconsin Division administrators are pleased to announce Charisse Oland, Ed.D, FACHE, has accepted the position of president and CEO of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital. She will begin serving St. Joseph’s on Monday, Nov. 27. The position at St. Joseph’s became available when Joan Coffman, former president and CEO, moved to Decatur, Ill., to take the same position at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital.

​HSHS today announced the appointment of Chris Klay to serve as President and CEO of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, IL.  Mr. Klay currently serves as Division Director of Rehabilitation Services for the HSHS Western Wisconsin Division.  He will begin his new role on September 18, 2017.
